By running the last 8 digits at the Dodge Self Service site:

http://www.dodge.com/webselfservice/dodge/index.jsp?screenName=recall&country=us&emailUrl=goToEmailForm%28%27R%27%29

You will see that Recall 998 is INCOMPLETE...which, in a way is good... in that it you won't have to worry about it being a "blown attempt" recall where the oil filter is blocked from access, as has been reported here. If you decide to get that car, YOU can choose a competent Viper Tech to do the work.

As you know, you REALLY need a Dodge dealer to run the full VIN check for you.

Good luck !!

So Cal
I just spoke to Chuck (The Wizzard) and he informed me that the car sounds good. The frame recall has not been performed but I can have DC performance or West Coast Viper take care of that. The only reason the car was in for service was for the intake manifolds which have been replaced....Cool, I dont have to dea with that.
