Here's some Viper stuff I learned in Tampa this weekend:

1. 101mph in a 70mph zone is still illegal even if you have a V10 (happened Friday afternoon)

2. You are instant friends with other Viper owners who you have never met before (happened Saturday)

3. Your friends will tell other people its their car while you are inside a restaurant and he's outside smoking (happened Saturday evening)

4. Strangers will offer you their gf's to let them drive your car around the block (happened Saturday night)

5. The gf will smile when you say ok and hand the guy the keys (happened Saturday night)

6. The valet at a nice bar/restaurant will let you valet park your car on the curb and then put cones around it for you (happened Saturday night)

7. When your ex-fiance calls, who you haven't spoken to in almost 2 years, her 1st words will be "how's the Viper?" (happened Saturday night)

8. My ex-fiance is a money grubbing *** (ok, not Viper related, sorry)

9. When you go to valet park the car in the "club district", the valet may say "I can't promise your Viper won't be stolen" (happened Saturday night)

10. Mercedes Benz people will try to steal from you (happened Sunday night)

11. You may have to interrupt your packing the car up to take the guy in the hotel room beside yours for a ride down the road (happened Monday morning)

Rolled out of Pechanga casino to find the snake parked at the front. Waiting with the wife for the valet to get the keys and the nightclub is just emptying out. Some chick in the crowd yells out really loud "Damn a Viper, those things are soooo bad ass"
Just turned to the wife and smiled. Priceless.

KWIK96, That's funny how many times that happens. It's great because, any crap your women my give you about owning a Viper, after few incidents like that and they love it just as much as you.

I've asked my wife 3 or 4 times "should we sell the Viper and get something better on gas" she'll glare at me like I'm crasy and say "No way"

I stopped by a Lambo dealership and the only car there that really caught my eye was a Saleen S-7.

Endless numbers of younger kids / teenagers take pics of you from their cell phones.

You're at a carshow parked near a highly modified Nissan 350Z and 2 highly modified Nissan Skylines and when the Nissans start revving up to impress the crowd, you get a smile/smirk on your face, hop in your Viper and rev it up to 5000RPM and the crowd runs over to your car and the Nissans just turn their cars off (happened this weekend)
