Hello Viper Brethren,

I'd like to ask for your opinions. I recently received my freshly painted Pearl Orange (Arancio Borealis, seen on the Gallardo) SRT 10 and have been contemplating putting the badges (black) back on, what do y'all think?

Before I get any of these :needpics: I'm unable to upload pictures because I don't have a website :( If someone can please do me the favor of posting the pictures I will email them.

Thanks,
Art

Badges? We dont need no stinkin badges!

No badges. Lean and mean...Stealth. Make em wonder what the hell it is. I kind of like the question I get frequently, "Who makes the Viper?"

Send me a pic or two, I will try to addd them to my gallery and post for you.

I say yes but I think black may be a bit too much on the pearl orange. I'm anxious to see pictures of this thing. Perhaps someone can photoshop different badge colors to see how they will look.

Thanks Chad! I've sent you an email with the pics.

Ron, Send me a PM with your email and I will send some other pics.

Bob, Before getting the black ones I was thinking about silver badges like the ones on your FE, but my brothers convinced me that black would look sharper, now I'm torn between leaving it stealth or badging

That is a sick color. The badges are a MUST. If you do not mind me asking, what did that paint job cost you and how long did it take?

That's the color of my 69 Road Runner. I believe Plymouth called it Vitamin C Orange and Dodge called it Hemi Orange. I love it !

What do you think the custom color will do to resale? And how much to do it right?

Thanks for the kind words fellas.

"What do you think the custom color will do to resale? And how much to do it right?"

Andrew,
I'm not too concerned with the resale as I hope to keep it for a very long time, besides my 4 year old nephew already staked his claim to it ;) .

Out of curiosity, what do yo think it has done to the resale value?

Completely disassembled and reassembled for a bit over $9K.

Sounds like you did it right. Resale I couldn't say, but I’d advertised as:
"That's the color of my 69 Road Runner. I believe Plymouth called it Vitamin C Orange and Dodge called it Hemi Orange." or your nephew would.

Thanks Chad for posting the pics :2tu: .

Now only if we had some California sun to make the color pop.
That's exactly what I was thinking. The pics with a little sun looks fantastic, while the ones without sun looked like a big creamcicle. I think WITH the badges on will break it up a bit.

Semi flat black rear diffuser.
Ghost chrome badging done by an outstanding graphic artist. If you don't know one, go to a local chopper shop for referral. Make sure you get color sketches first!
Brake calipers painted same color as body.
Slam it as much as possible still keeping it street driveable.
I'm torn as to whether to leave wheels alone, paint with same color rims only or centers only. My .02.

I really like what you have done so far.

Or you could go to the "media" section of the VCA site and upload photos to your gallery. Then the UBB code (to post the pictures) is on the bottom of the description when you look at your picture full size. :D
