I bought two, one's still on TOOOFST, my bubby
then bought a Roe S/C and the box doesn't work.
This box cost $1000.plus ship and is NEW from VIPAIR.
This box will increase air flow by decrease turbulence
because of the size and design set up for standard
K&N filters. Nice to be able to change filters quickly
without dealing with the stock [*****] clips.
Here's the link to the auction on e-bay :)

I've driven in downpours with viper club buds to witness and
TOOOFST still pulls 10's. There certainly is a potential problem
but so is hitting a curb at 150.

The box technically is larger, but I don't know if there's any HP
increase. The looks and MAJOR convienance of filter cleaning, access
is plenty a reason. Stock airboxes with crappy clips can drive you
crazy.

Again you OMOH's I'm not selling the HP game here.

Joe,

Those supposed 'amateurs' that you think they are could also be pros with automated bids programs that kick in each time someone new tops their bid.

Are you sure that's a Vipair box? It looks like a Factory 10 (or Henne$$ey).
Its a Factory 10 (not a vipair) and I bought one from JohnH years ago. Its awesome but dont lose the zeus fasteners as they are very hard to replace.

Don't think so......the "pros" wait and snipe it at the last 10 seconds out of nowhere ;-)

Chuck, what is happening over there? CF airbox? I hope you are kidding.

Also my snipe is set at 4 seconds. But I only use it when it is a hard-to-find item.

The BEST carbon fiber Airbox ever!

I agree with that statement! :2tu: It's very light, much better looking then the factory box and a breeze to change out the filters. Quality product.

Factory 10 manufactured the original box for H-M-S but now makes them exclusively for Vipair so it is a Vipair CF box. I bought one from Vipair a couple years back and it was around $900 so who ever wins the bid will get a great deal.

Actually,

Factory Ten made these for Henne$$ey and Hennes$ey sold them as his own, Factorty Ten and Hene$$ey had a falling out over something, I bought all their production stock and their molds from Factory Ten, so it is in fact a Vipair product now.

Well, if you have the molds how much would you charge to build one for me?

Chuck,

Carbon fiber is pretty scarce right now, we probably won't be able to make any airboxes any time soon, and once we get some we will be using it for our new SRT10 hoods like this one, before we make any airboxes. I would bid on this one if you want one soon.

I'm not looking for purdy. How about fiberglass?

molded plastic would be ok too. & lighter & cheap as hell to make

We can do either, I have been thinking about doing co-ordinated color painted fiberglass airboxes for a while now, maybe now is the time?

Do the poser stuff after you build a plain-ol' plastic or fiberglass one for me.

Please.
