Love those - but why did you go with 18" aftermarket wheels?
Just curious as I was thinking of Iforged but in 19/20's...

how do those compare in weight to the VR1's???

VR1s are 18 & 19 lbs.. These are 25(10.5"F) & 27 lbs. w/jet nuts(1 lb. lighter total) versus standard. Stock 18s are 31 & 33 lbs.. ACRs are 27 & 29 lbs.. I wanted some weight savings, however, I also wanted 3pc. wheels so the 1pc. VR1s were not an option for me.

Well...my '98 had 17" stock so I've already done +1 and don't want to go any further out of original design specs regarding suspension geometry. In addition, I wanted to maintain the better performance and ride characteristics of the 18s versus larger diameter wheels which require a lower aspect ratio tire with less sidewall flex and the larger wheels also have a higher rotating mass. Personally, I like the looks of 18s better than larger wheels on a Viper and in particular the size relationship to the brake rotors. I've lowered with Eibachs so the 18s should look fine. Finally, I wanted the numerous tire options and better availability.
