How to remove interior trim panel rivets?

I am ready to remove my interior trim panels on the doors and the rear bulkhead, and they have these little plastic rivets. They are about one inch diameter, and have a small plastic pin in the middle.

I assume I just push the pin in so it falls out, and then pull the rivet out? Any idea where I can buy replacements if I can't find the pin afterwards?

Just push the pin in until it stops (it will not fall out) then pull the whole retainer out. Once out, push the pin back through in the opposite direction prior to re-install.
