MY car gong in for tuning on this friday the 13th.

finally its together, running and date is set for tuning.

but its friday the 13th. is that good or bad ?

i've been making JD crazy with emails asking for help and after like 9 different tunes, i think its close enough for now.

so im going to romar racing in walden NY. Kyle (owner) and Joseph Dell via phone, fax, email will be doing the tuning. Im know those 2 are capable. im just gonna be doing the emailing duties and lots of praying.

i think its either gonna blow up or run evil and put up a good, safe number and run good.

what do you think ??

here is what pics i got of it till its tuned and i can spend a full wekend cleaning it after the 10 weeks of working on it. at least the engine, suspension and underside has been cleaned and waxed.

im pretty sure if i get half the rwhp you had with your paxton, i'll be happy.

tuning just for the s/c friday. i wanna re-do the whole nitrous system soon afterwards and then maybe in may or june, tune for spraying a small shot.

I am very interested in the #'s that you achieve Phil. I too, am thinking of going the DLM route next winter. I will have to do a piston swap so that kind of *****! I will be asking you a ton of questions over the next couple of months so be prepared!! My first question is where did you buy the system from?

im always happy to help YOU. anytime .

the DLM was the only option for me when it came tothe paxton. its a big difference from the basic paxton kit.

my kit was Joseph Dells old kit. i bought it used. I didnt wanna spend the cash on a new system right now. i installed it mostly myself with josephs help and joseph is gonna handle the tuning via phone/email friday.

your going the wrong way... I did the same thing with my 03 cobra...

pulley, ported blower, nitrous, kenne bell, turbo, etc...

I should have just gotten a TT viper for all the $ I put in the car to only make 735rwhp.

I bet it gets old quick for ya, throwing belts or just belt slip or the little loss of power because its belt driven!

if you cant tell, I dont like belts anymore, lol

You would be very happy with ANY TT setup, CPE is awesome because its front mount and its as much show as go... and you know it has plenty of go after talking to Dell.

with all that said, I wish ya the best and Im sure you will be very happy with the car compared to before... but youll be back for more soon... we all do:cool:
