'98 with 29.5K.
Put on 20K in three years, enjoyed every minute of it.
Three years later I get the same thrill every time I start it up. :headbang:

Just wanting to see how many Vipers people think have over 10k ("high mileage") on them. My guess is 60%. Year doesnt matter. A 92' with 11k on it is high mileage just like a 06' w/11k is for this post.

I have performed a detailed study and have a precise answer to your Q, 50%. If there is any flaw in my analysis, it has something to do with the fact that my test sample was limited to my garage.

I think this deluded perception is only held by Viper owners.
Nobody else thinks like that.

I have to disagree. When I first started shopping for fun-on-four-wheels, I drove just about everything out there. There were several reasons I didn't buy a Ferrari, one of them being I want to drive my cars, not just look at them. Unless you want to flush money, you can't put miles on a Ferrari and some of the other exotics.

Of course it varies by model, but the Ferraris depreciate dollars per mile. Check out dupontregistry.com. You'll see lots of 360s for sale and very few of them are HIGH MILAGE - over 10K miles. Those that are 20K and 30K mile cars cost 10s of 1000s of dollars less than the low mile cars.

Explaining Viper things to you
So you can maintain it, house it and never enjoy it and MAYBE sell it 15 years from now for what you paid for it (or more likely less?) :dunno: I don't get it.

Good. Then it is agreed that we can all drive the crap out of our cars and be considered reasonable.

Good news is, by the time I'm too arthritic to get in and out of mine and I sell it, the 500 mile storage queens will be owned by museums and not for sale.

And my 50K mile '01 GTS will be a low mileage car.

This is what I am, hoping for. :2tu:

Yes, as of now we are moving the bar for what is considered low mileage to... 30K! :omg:

Thats right, any Viper under 30K miles is a low mileage garage queen creampuff.
Any questions, ask Dave.

I'm a little un-comfy now. I have 24K-ish miles now. We'll hit the 50K mark when we start taking Centrum Silver. I was thinking ahead on that.

So, I guess I need to go find my queen and see if she'll puff the cream off.

My car, you perverts.

lol 10k is considered high? I'm new to vipers and plan on having one but I just don't understand the concept of "garage queen". If I spend that kinda money on one of these cars I'm going to drive it and enjoy it!

I have 13,000+ on my 2000 GS and 4,300+ on the 2006 Coupe.

My brother has over 150,000 on a 1993. He drives it everyday. has been his daily driver for years, now retired from DOD.
