Is there a tire pressure sensor in the rim?

Yes, all four rims.

It's a seperate part. I think there are other applications that will fit a viper, Jeep, etc

Does the rim need to be cut to fit the sensor?

Yes you have sensors, its built into your valve stem. Some aftermarket rims are made to work the same as stock. Others you have to tie strap the sensor inside the rim to the barrel. My Iforged wheels are supposed to be delivered tomorow. They use a bracket inside the wheel to hold sensor. Ill post pics when i get them.

Anyways, if ordering wheels, just tell them you car and that you have the factory TPMS, they will let you kno what to do.
