A hoon can be two things: Old English - A **** (or a man of similar profession)
New usage - an OZ word that's short for Hooligan and implies a person who drives a car in a reckless manner. There have been a number of anti-hoon laws put into place in Australia to deter dangerous behavior.

How 'bout a compromise...moved it to General.
And, I'd never seen that before. I said about the same thing as the driver when that Viper went across the screen.

Thanks. When I took my driving course the video on the big screen was from an 06 Viper that won the Rose Championship race. Totally freaked me out when a car suddenly came out from the right, drove up ont top of the Viper's passenger tire, bounced a foot into the air and then came down on the track spinning away to the right. Freaky. I had to ask myself it I really wanted to go racing. 4 spins on my hp driving day and I wasn't one of them!
