Vec 3 question

Thought this was the most appropriate forum to ask my question.
Is the Vec 3 Viper specific or can it also be installed on a different type of car? I am looking into programmable ECU options for my Calibra and am wondering if the Vec 3 is a possibility.

I really doubt it would work or even be worth the time of rewiring the entire thing.
There are plenty of generic piggyback systems and stand-alones that you could use - microtech, SDS, wolf, AEM, megasquirt are just a few that come to mind.
