Oh, no worries...I'm not policing anyone or anything! I just didn't want to post it, then someone say "awesome! What's on it?" and not have an answer. I love that video though!

This clip is of my '01 with Belanger Headers & Catback, RT Cats. I recorded it on my phone sitting in my lap as I went through a short tunnel. At 5 secs I got WOT in the tunnel, at 20s I'm exiting the tunnel. Every time I go through that particular tunnel and get on it...the cars just scatter. It's the greatest feeling in the world. :D

You won't like the sound.

Corsa and Borla use sound cancelling technology to eliminate the lousy part of the exhaust noise with zero restriction. Looking inside the Corsa muffler you can see straight through it with no restrictions and only a few slotted, small ovals are seen inside the muffler. These ovals allow the sound cancellation technology to change the sound to better, more comfortable frequencies and eliminate the drone produced at 2000rpm. Dynomax works off of a simpler but somewhat similar principal. You get what you pay for.

If I had a GenI or GenII with side exhaust I wouldn't hesitate to install the Roe exhaust...WOW...Viper James had this on his GenI and it was just bad ass.

Change on my exhaust

3 inch mandrel bent from the stock flex pipe back. Running Dynomax 24222 mufflers no cats. Previous exp with Dynomax is that after break in they lose a little of the trumpet raspy sound. These seem to be on their way to doing that. The decel on this clip sounds a little rough although it was a normal downshift and I think the camera placement and bridge amplified the sound.

Mexico, I never broke the speed limit. Those cyclist were breaking the law by riding side by side and operating a motor vehicle on the shoulder :)

sirhc,
is that a custom job?
sounds a lot like mine
I think my borla is very similar to what you did
there are bullet mufflers where the cats were and its 3" mandrel bent all the way back

Yes I bought 3 inch mandrel bent from Ebay and fitted/fabbed it in the garage. I have 3 inch from the flex pipe back running through a single Dynomax on each side. When I first installed it I had that trumpet sound its quickly going away. Drone only in 5th gear at 70mph, generally I'm not at that speed/gear for long. Excluding the welder I spent less than $300 for the whole setup. I don't count the MIG as it was a Christmas gift from the wife :)

Full Belanger setup, headers, hi-flow CATs and catback. You'll hear it at various stages in the video. I also swear it is getting louder, the more miles I put on it.
