I just picked up a SSG (w/ black stripes) 2008 SRT-10 Viper last week. It is completely bone stock down the original paper air filter with 13K miles on the clock. We had a nice day here in St. Louis today, so I headed to a local dyno center which was hosting a small dyno day. My best pull netted the following results:

HP: 548.06
TQ: 527.82
11.93 AFR at 6400 RPM
All runs made on a Dynojet dyno

The dyno tech who made the pulls said that my tach was off by about 200-300 RPM and that it felt like it was hitting the rev limiter up top. Do these Vipers have a rev limiter and, if so, what RPM do they kick in?

Overall, I was counting on a 15% drivetrain loss and was therefore expecting 510 HP or so prior to making the runs so 548 made me quite happy. Any others have some numbers for comparison purposes?

600 Crank HP is VERY conservative. It is said to be more in the 640HP neighborhood! ;-) I have the SSG (plain with no stripes) Viper, too. Mine only has 800 miles, though... 13K? It seems like you drive it daily!

Those numbers, do you have the RPM data as well? In other words, 548.06 at what RPM and 527.82 TQ at what RPM?

Are you numbers actual or SAE Corrected?

I also thought under new SAE testing procedures, using conservative ratings were a thing of the past. Hence why to power went up to 510 on the SRT's from the originally disclosed 500.
