Yesterday I picked up my 05'Commemorative from wintering at a Viper-shop and did the first 250mls for this year.
I got some mod's:
Hi-flow race cats, Borla cat back without X-pipes, K&N, urethan bushings, service and a SCT hi octane tune from RoeRacing.

The performance is better and the snake feels more lively.

But... I get lots of drone between 2,500 and 3,000 revs which doesn't mean the exhaust is too loud. No matter if top down/up, windows down/up.

The drone produces ear pressure on the outside ear of the driver or passenger like at sea diving, up/down higher mountains or flying without good pressure balance. :crazy2:

Any recommendations?

Drone is no good/fun....Jörg.

Stop driving. j/k!

Obviously, something is wrong - have the exhaust changed/modified.

Will do a drive Monday/Tuesday afternoon though - will call ya!

Borla = drone

Corsa = no drone

Change exhausts or live with it, unfortunately.:smirk:
that's pretty much the truth from what i've seen.. I did use some vortex cones on a B&B junk exhaust with major drone, and it cut it in about half.:dunno:

The thing with the Corsas is their raspier note - quite a few like it but some like myself don't. I got the 08 exhaust catback from DC Performance used - worked out pretty well - it is louder than the stock 05 exhaust.
