WANTED: Gen. 3 Throttle Body "Axle"

Hey Supporting Vendors!

I figured I'd christen the new forum area with a real stumper:

I'm looking for the "axle" section for a Gen. 3 throttle body.
Ahhhh...but now the hard part: for the SRT-10 truck!
The cars and trucks have different cable attachment brackets:
- Cars = throttle only.
- Trucks= throttle, cruise control, auto. trans. kickdown.

The cable attachment brackets are crimped onto the axle shaft, so the whole axle needs to be swapped out.

Any info on how to score that without buying the entire throttle body would be appreciated.

The only problem is that I'd be stuck with the same thing I have now: A TB with an axle/bracket that doesn't link up.

Have you tried Mike at Xvipers? Could be one stuck in a wrecked Viper with your name on it.

Not yet.
There's not any kind of rush on this, so when the vendors get around to it (or find one in their realm), I'm sure I'll hear from them.

I gotcha Jon, but when it's all said and done, I'd still have a Viper TB casting here with an axle that won't work with the trucks.

Uhhhm... isn't an SRT-Ram a truck?

Sometimes, if it doesn't fit on or in a Viper...
