[SIZE=-1][SIZE=-1]What You Need to Know -[/SIZE] This year's show, the Wings Over Whiteman is June 6 at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. This event is open to the public. Admission and parking is free. The B-2, A-10, Apache, and the Air Combat Command's aerial demonstration team will highlight the show. Gates are scheduled to open at 9 a.m. and opening show begins at 10:30 a.m.. Please call (660)687-1444 for updates.[/SIZE]

Medical, diaper, and camera bags (Medium or smaller in size)
Clear beverages in clear, see-through containers
Cameras, camcorders, cell phones
Wheelchairs
Money for food, drink from various offerings from vendors
Commemorative flier from The Sedalia Democrat for autographs

[SIZE=-1][SIZE=+2]What NOT to Bring[/SIZE][/SIZE] [SIZE=-1]Prohibited Items on the installation and in the Air Show spectator area:
Knives (Regardless of blade length), multi-tools, box cutters, razors
Firearms, stun-guns, mace and/or OC spray, ammunition (Unless carried by law enforcement officers with valid credentials); weapons such as clubs, black jacks, brass knuckles
Explosives

[SIZE=-1]Prohibited Items in the Air Show spectator area:
Back packs or gym bags
Coolers, glass bottles, alcoholic beverages
Non-prescription medication, illicit/illegal drugs and or paraphernalia (Marijuana, ****, etc)
Walkie-talkies, HAM radios, scanners, GPS units
Bicycles, skateboards, roller blades/skates, scooters
Pets

[SIZE=-1][SIZE=+2]Directions[/SIZE][/SIZE] [SIZE=-1]To get to Whiteman Air Force Base traveling from Kansas City, take Highway 50 East and turn right onto Highway J in Knob Noster. This road leads directly into the north end of the base through the Arnold Gate.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]From St. Louis, take Highway 50 West and exit onto 23 South. Follow this road to the left around the base and enter through the LeMay Gate, at the south end of the base.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]The Spirit Gate, also located on Highway 23 South at the west end of the base, will be closed. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]As you enter the base, you will be directed to free parking areas.[/SIZE]

Good luck on your airshow. In NJ, it is always a great event. Budget cutbacks prevented this years event. Hope you have fun and a great turnout. Please post pictures.......
