You should consider joining the VCA. I've had my car in central Ohio a few times and the Ohio club has a great group of people! Check out this thread for a few photos of one of the events I attended:

There's always plenty of events going on during the warmer months. When you're part of the club, the e-mail notifications for upcoming events is just one of the many benefits of being a VCA member.
You should also keep an eye on the Ohio regional forum:

Lastly, you're post comes at a pretty bad time. Now that winter is just around the corner a lot of people, especially those located in the northern parts of the country, will be putting their cars away soon.

I refuse to acknowledge the existence of winter. I prefer to think in terms of an extended 5 month long maintenance program for the Viper.
