Default Exhaust question - re: 04 SRT

I recently purchased an 04 SRT, the car is stock, except for hi-flo cats (unsure of brand) and Corsa cat-backs. The problem that I have is that the exhaust hangers cracked off the cat pipes on both sides leaving me with a pretty nasty exhaust leak. It appears to me that they broke off due to the fact that the after market cat pipes don't have the flexible stainless mesh that the stock system has, which I would believe are there to allow the motor to torque without flexing the exhaust. Am I correct or do you think that they broke for another reason?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Agree... Probably why the complete Belanger system has no front hangers. I believe Roe sells highflows with flex couplings on them if that's all you want to replace.

If you ever compare the welds from factory cats to RT cats you will see how poorly there welded.
