Looks like it was a great time. I'll have to see all the pics sometime soon.

Bob,

You and Lindsey were greatly missed. :( We hope your friend's Father is doing better. I'll post some CAAP and WPC pictures tonight when I get home from work. Yesterday's trip just wiped me out and I loved every minute of it.

Take care,
Randall

You lucked out MB, they weren't making any yellow cars last week. We saw mostly greens & blacks.

I hope everyone had a good time. A special THANK YOU to Dick and Herb for taking time out of their busy schedules to hang out with the VCA Ohio Region on Friday.

What is this? The dark car on the left. What part of the plant was it in?

And what was this car? Perhaps a test bed for a new type of manifold and intake? That looks like a fully functional ram air hood system to me. If it is, it's a neat idea.

While I was not on the tour this part of the plant is right when you walk out onto the production floor. These cars are the first things you see. I'm assuming that the dark car is a comp. coupe mule.

This car is called "The stealth Viper." It was on the cover of viper mag. a few years ago. Lots of carbon fiber on the car.

I believe the one on the left was a prototype of something they were working on a few years back that never made it to production. It was put in mostly Viper body panels to disguise it. I remember the comment because the wheel base was different and the rear wheels were not centered in the wheel wells if you look closer.

Thanks. The color in the photo is misleading. Now I see that the one on the right is the stealth Viper. Thanks. The ram air hood is interesting.

If I remember correctly our tour guide told us that the car on the end was a SLR chassis with a Viper body on it. This was done during the Firepower development process. And we know what happened with that.
