Throttle Cable on GTS Help

Pulled mine theough the firewall last nite. How does it attach? does it have a clip , or do I need a new one, Any ideas?

Fortunately, have not seen one of these problems for several years. On the road, we would "rig" the gromet to resecure it to the firewall to get the Viper home. I used to carry a spare cable as gromet was not sold separately...cost twenty-some-odd dollars by my recollection.

In my road race cars I had bent many a pedal trying to go faster! but on the strip? Is it a big deal to swap?

Simple fix is to cut a slot in a washer and slide on. I did it to my RT/10 many, many miles ago and it is still going strong.

It's been a few years but if I remember correctly I got a steel washer with the correct size hole and then cut a slot in it so I could just slide it in place.
