maybe its just me, but i think getting a car professionally detailed before it is put up for sale is always a wise decision.

LOL, you guys... This is just a case of mistaken marketing affect...

They really meant to list it as a V10 Planter!

You must be registered for see images

No mancave is complete without a V10 planter :lmao::lmao:

Wasn't there a viedo of this thing crashing in Va Beach about a year ago. Lost it in the cold weather and was caught on a highway cam?

Sad thing is that *if* the wing and struts really are undamaged, they are about 25% of the asking price alone

Poor ACR.

Guys this is the perfect car to learn auto repair and best of all, it's got a clear title. I mean heck, the ad even says the engine and tranny look good to go! Just a few melted parts and a small garden to boot. The Car Fax even states that the accident was a non collision and the car qualifies for "Buy Back".

If he took those salvageable parts off the car and sold them seperately, he would clean up. Sell the rest to scrap and be done with it. Motor might make a nice class table holder if repainted.

"Engine and transmission, covered since day of accident, also seem to be fine other than composite materials (cast aluminum doesn't appear to be distorted)"

maybe he thinks the engine is in the back?

If it has a clear title with a VIN number, someone will buy it, and someone elses 2009 ACR will soon turn up missing.
It isn't rocket science to put that scenario together.

Read the article "How to steal a Ferrari" in the latest edition of "0-60" magazine - that will scare the poop outta you - Cover/story is the ACR vs SLR.

Original recipe or extra crispy? The title is whats really for sale, the rest is a bonus...if you want to call it that.

The only thing good on that car is the wing. I bet it has damage on the finish also. There is no way to salvage the engine or trans.

I will start the bid a $1
