Once again we have organized another fantastic Viper weekend. Jason (Stretch) has put together a great Viper driving route as we run the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Jason has scheduled tours for us at Woodford Reserve, Four Roses, and Heaven Hill Distilleries.

We will have a Saturday night dinner at the famous Malone's Steakhouse. Janey has put together luxurious accommodations for Saturday night at the Griffin Gate Marriott Resort and Spa.

Saturday will be a tour of Woodford Reserve in the morning and a tour of Four Roses after lunch. Then some scenic driving. Then dinner at Malone's in Lexington.

Sunday will be a tour of Heaven Hill.

Jason has put together a tentative schedule and is currently working on some scenic driving routes between the distilleries. Maps will be posted soon.


Also, the Ohio and IN/KY Region have collaborated on an event t-shirt which will be available for ordering. That information will be posted this evening on this thread.



*The special hotel rate is also good for Friday July 29th for those driving down the night before.

T-shirts are available in black or white with the event logo on front and back. Since there is NO registration fees for this event , the profits from the sale of these shirts will go towards paying the distillery tour fees for the event.

Nice, I see you chose the Heaven Hill bottle for the front, probably a good choice since Woodford and Four Roses use more distinctive bottles, that unless you're a bourbon drinker, wouldn't be as instantly recognizable.

Gonna order one, maybe two!

I'm staying away from Florida this year, last year a near dead cat showed up in our driveway and I ended up bringing him home, my daughter gave him a bowl of cherrios and he wouldn't leave the rest of the week, had to buy him a plane ticket and a special size carrier to get him back cause I'm a sucker for big green eyes. Now he's a gorgeous 17 lb boy. He won the Florida lottery and doesn't even know it.

Probably not, that would be the quickest way to get a ticket. "Spirited" caught on tape is a bad thing.

It could certainly be arranged... perhaps while we're pulling into Malone's at the end of the day though... not while out testing the throttle and suspension ;-)

I could also possibly arrange some police escorts pulling in at the end of the day... I know a few cops that are big car fiends and are a part of the local car scene.
