Moton Club Sport are the choice of many for what you seem to be looking for. They have remote canisters where you can adjust compression. Rebound adjustment is at the top of the shock.
Not in any application that I have seen. They are usually mounted to a crossmamber in the engine compartment or I think in the rear fender well except on comp coupes or some full out race Vipers.
Various supporting vendors here sell and some install them.
