I have worked out a deal where I can do a group buy on the GoPro Motor Sports HD Cam. Normally this runs $299.99 plus shipping. If I get enough commitments I can get these for us at $210 a piece delivered in the USA. I need to get a count and the money in two weeks to make the buy. I need to at least get 20 commitments to get this price. Let me know if you are interested. Great cam and I want to buy a few more for myself at a great price. People who know me I have come through on much higher $ items in group buys on car lifts. (30 lifts sold in the past).

Let me know if you are in. If so email me at [email protected] to get details on payment details.

Thanks!

Here are the specs:

GoPro’s HD Motorsports HERO is the world’s highest performance 1080p HD on board video and still photo racing camera. Professional quality 1080p, 960p, and 720p HD resolutions records the action at 30 frames per second (60 fps in 720p). The HD Motorsports HERO easily mounts to any helmet, motorcycle, ATV, car, plane, jet ski, boat, snowmobile or other vehicle. The camera’s quick-release mounting design makes it easy to re-position the camera around your vehicle for professional quality HD video from several angles.
Record up to 2.5 hours on a single charge and up to 9 hours total on a 32GB SD card (not included).
GoPro’s obsession with sound has conquered the wind. At 85 mph on a motorcycle, you’ll enjoy the throaty sound of your motor, not the wind. Inside even the quietest street cars, hear the pull of your motor…not the drone of the wind and road.
The camera can also shoot automatic 5MP time lapse photos at 2/5/10/30 and 60 second intervals during your drive or ride, hands free. Press the shutter button once and record up to 2.5 hours of on board action with poster-print quality photos.
Included are mounts for two helmets and three vehicles, as well as a suction cup for maximum versatility and convenience. Also included is a 1100mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery that lasts for up to 2.5 hours of constant recording. With optional accessories, you can also plug the camera into a wall outlet, cigarette lighter, or with any USB-compatible power adapter, wire it directly to your vehicle’s electrical system. The battery will charge while you record.
Waterproof to 180’ / 60m and protected from rocks and other hazards thanks to its removable polycarbonate housing. Replacement housings and lens kits are available, making repairs or refurbishing your HD HERO camera affordable and convenient. It’s a GoPro…go for it.™

I will actually have to buy the cameras upfront, but they are brand new with factory warranty on them through GoPro HD. I already have two of these cameras and they are awesome! You can do a lot on time lapse and capture amazing footage in your viper, trips…whatever you like. Simple to use too.

I will start to generate a list, but I think by next Friday is when I have to submit the final order. Tell your friends or post on other sites that might be interested. But whatever you do make sure who ever wants one you know they are serious. I don't want to ruin it for others because someone say they will do and it don't come through.

Thanks guys!

Oh yes the price is delivered to your house.

Sorry Adam, LifeIsGood = 0. Although I agree it's seems to be a great product at a great price, I just don't know when I would use it. Thanks anyway.

100% of the in-car and car-to-car video you see in Dodge Viper Cup on VERSUS is captured on these Go-Pro HD cameras.
HD TV quality reproduction.

Not just for track-hi-speed drives: IF you are without blame in a traffic incident, or cop-stop, this is instant evidence. Lots of uses. {If a Cop knows you have it, he can possibly confiscate it as evidence. But the 5th Amendment "Self Incrimination" means the evidence might not be admissable....}

Jon makes a very good point here. I never drive without running a camera in any of my vehicles. After a he said she said no fault accident where the guilty party lied; I swore, never again.

Adam,

Put me down for 1 (maybe 2, will let you know soon). What payment types do you take (Check, Amex, etc.)? Thanks for stepping out and pulling this together for us :2tu:

Ab, question for you. The way the camera is panning a bit in your video.... Was that the mount or a camera feature? I can't find it on my current GoPro if it is an option. Thanks. Jeff
