So if I read the basics, we would end up with a stiffer chassis and a weight savings of about 66 lbs. This does not even cover all the other parts of the vehicle that could go the carbon route. There are a lot of parts that could be carbon fiber, it would just push the cost into the supercar catagory.

It was my understanding that the ASR produced VCA Raffle car was also produced to explore the opportunities for additional carbon fiber incorporation into our Vipers.

I believe they were expermenting with a less expensive, cold formed carbon fiber.

I would expect additional high tech weight savings to show up in future Viper production.

How does cold formed carbon fiber work? Never heard of that before. Now I am interested.
