    Default how can one tell if the battery temperature sensor is bad?

    Will the battery icon come up on the dashboard area if this part is bad?

    usually it will throw a p1492 code

    Cool note for us gen 1 owners...on the Gen 1 the battery temperature sensor is not present.. Not sure if the Gen 2 has this item..Just one less item to worry about..lol
