Is there a choice to repair paint on side sill?

The passenger side sill has a paint spot about the size of a half dollar or just over that has cracked/peeled up front where the lower hood guide/latch is. I'm guessing others have had this issue and maybe it's due to heat. The rest of the sill is in fine shape for 11 years so can a good shop match and fix that area or do I really have to get the whole sill repainted?

you can blend it and shoot the whole sill with clear after

can be done but probably just as much work to repaint the whole thing. if stock exhaust and cats, fix that issue while the sills are off then paint it
