    Default New owner in MN

Just picked up my first viper a week ago. Red 98 gts. Weather has been pretty decent and the car needs a good cleaning anyway so I've already put a about 350 miles on it. Car is a Chrysler Viper as I was told it started off in England before being imported back to the US. So I've been trying to do some digging as it sounds like the car probably came detuned from the factory. I'd like to try and verify if this was just done in the ecu and if so is this cars ecu still in a detuned state. If that is the case I'd like to see about changing that be it reprogramming the ecu or just swapping it to a us spec if that is possible.

Should have searched further. Just found the actual post from when the car was updated to a 99 ecu already.....almost 7 years ago.
