Snakes at the Lake May 12-13

It's time to gear up for the 8th Annual Snakes at the Lake trip! We will once again be staying at the beautiful Camden on the Lake in Lake Ozark, MO. This year's trip will be May 12-13. The clubs plan to meet Saturday morning and cruise to Toad Cove at the resort for lunch. There was a slight $5 room charge increase over last year, but we're still getting a group rate at $154 per night for a grand suite. We have a block of 20 rooms reserved under the Viper Club, but you will need to call and make your own reservation and give the group code of VPER0512 by April 12th to receive the discounted rate. You'll also receive a 10% discount on spa services (reservations recommended) Darryl are I are still working out the evening meal and entertainment festivties. Damn.... Like last year, several of us will not be there because this was planned on a track event weekend...

I know Mike I saw that, but there are too many other factors involved when scheduling this event including the KC Club schedule, getting the pre-Memorial Day room rate, and another May event for our club the weekend of 19-20th. Also, historically the club has waited until the middle/end of May for this event for the warmest possible weather to see more boats in the marina and the scenery around the pool/lake.

Also, after a little friendly KC vs Gateway competition with prizes after dinner, we're going to be treated by Liz Moriondo and band. She's originally from SE MO, but now lives in Nashville. She sings country and also good old rock and roll in her sets. She has opened for Sara Evans, Lee Brice, Thompson Square, Ozark Mountain Daredevil's and Joe Diffie, and also played festivals with Tim McGraw, Train, One Republic, Big and Rich, and more. They will play from approx 9pm - 12:30am. There will also be another band outdoors that night at the Camden, and the in-house movie theater will also be available.
