I suggest watching these. :drive: I have a feeling it will clarify many questions and possibly cure some of the "angry posters". Which could be justified by lack of information with all of the "secrecy" leading up to yesterday. I have been reading what I can, watching what I find, listening to the forum and I still found many of these just great!

After watching all of those very informative videos I would suggest that everyone check them out. I think that before you post , whether it is against of for the new design , everyone needs to really understand about all the details on the car. Just seeing it isn't enough information to really form an educated opinion.

Not sure how you can criticize the car much after watching those.

Amazing videos! Now can we get them all together on a DVD with the unveiling video of the Gen V?

Awsome videos. and great comments by all involved. This is the kind of information that shows me the pride & commitment that the folks at SRT have to the Viper. GREAT job. I for one appreciate everything that the folks at SRT have done to preserve and promote the Viper !!

Great post....but why is the chief engineer working at a cubicle?

To promote open conversation and sharing of ideas. Now this may not be the case for these videos and it may not be a real scenario, but aside from cost cutting (our new facilities have an open floor plan and no one is given an office, including the managers, directors and VPs), it really does promote dialogue amongst workers.

It can be tough in some cases though.

Yep, I agree. The Gen V has grown on me since yesterday. After seeing these videos - I'm pumped to see this thing in person.

I watched the videos yesterday. I thought the same thing about putting those videos on one DVD. I would love to have them in my collection. Tons of educational information there.

Figured this was worth a bump. Also added Ralph's video.

Also, did I hear a rumor about the Gen V and the ring?:drive:

I heard the rumor last week from a poster on GTplanet about Jalopnik saying that. But he and I searched the web and found nothing so I didn't bother reporting it. I wouldn't doubt it as SRT is not your typical car company. Would be incredible if that 7 min time is true.
