"Show and Shine" Car show in June

Hello Fellow Snake drivers!

MORNINGSIDE MANOR CAR SHOW

602 Babcock Road San Antonio, TX 78201

SATURDAY, JUNE16, 2012

10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This is at a nursing home on the NW side of town. Been around for 50 years!

Lunch will be provided to all participants in the Dining Room. This will be a “Show and Shine” for the residents of Morningside Manor.

Other hot rods and classic cars will be there. I'll be there to represent but it would be nice to have one or two more Vipers to make
our own "Snake Pit".

I have 3 Viper motors and all have been pinned. Better safe than sorry...

June is in the works, maybe a lazy drive due to heat.

Missed a great event. I was the only Viper that showed up; however, I meet some great guys. It was nice to hear the seninor's comments about all the cars. They really had a great time and one could see a sparkle in their eyes today.

Wish I had known you were going. John went to the USAA event, so I thought I'd be the only Viper there. Didn't feel comfortable not knowing anyone.
Would've, could've, should've. Oh well.

Actually John showed up after I left. Sometimes you just have to get the snake out. With a Viper, you will always get someone to at least start to talk with you.

Gotta remember, you are much closer to the event than am I. Still, I would have gone had I known you were going also.
I had kinda hoped there would have been several of us, and that we would meet somewhere in advance, and role into the parking lot at the Manor together. That would have been an eye-opener.

Maybe next time we can organize this event so that we can all know who is actually attending.

Anyway, with my luck, the next time this event comes around, I'll probably have a front row seat and instead of being a guest, will be a member. Yikes.
