Engine Block Cooling

I've been re-reading some of the announcement material and publications from the past Gens of the Viper. Apparently the even cooling of the engine block, front to rear, is an issue that has been addressed several times in the past. Even the use of computional tools to address this issue has a history.

I noticed that the announcement material on the Gen V, V-10, again addresses the engine block cooling issue.

Now that some development testing has been done, what's the status of this issue?
