Here are the driving plans:

Meeting: Meet at 8:30 a.m. and leave by 8:45 from Bass Pro Shops on IH-10.
Drive: Go to Boerne and hit FM 474N to FM 473E. This will take us to 281N for a nice drive thru Blanco on our way to Johnson City then to 290 to LBJ park!

I'm still waiting on installation of replacement side-sill heat shields by Maximum Velocity Performance out on NW Industrial. They were to have been installed a week prior, but were placed on back order. They were supposed to arrive in the afternoon post yesterday, and were then to be installed today. I really hope they arrived. I already PMd Mike and Spike that Susanne and I are coming, and this is one drive we very much are looking forward to.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Bass Pro is kinda outta the way for us folks that live in the Southside...Any idea when you might link up with 281? Also, what's the plan on the way home (group drive, leave whenever, etc.)?

I'll call/text if I don't hear from you soon as I hardly ever come on this site anymore, since I was kicked off... :2tu:

Heck, I live all the way over in Seguin, and I'm still going out to the Bass Pro Shop to meet up with everyone.

Got my new side-sill insulation installed, but not sure it is effectively dampening the heat issue. Hope it is doing what it is supposed to be doing. Anyway, Susanne and I will be joining everyone tomorrow morning for the ride and festivities.

Rich, I don't think you were ever actually kicked off the site. Far as I can tell, you've always been able to post, even when you thought you couldn't or weren't able to.

This was a really great event, which encompassed both the Austin area and San Antonio area folks, as well as a great couple from McAllen, TX. My personal thanks to both Spike and Mike for making this a really neat memorable event and all they did to insure it was every bit of that. Thank you.

We need more of these kind of events. Simple, yet fun, and inclusive of more Viper Drivers from a greater area of mid and south Texas.
