We got lost on our way to Luckenbach & I'm fairly certain that the one lane road we wound up on had never seen a Viper TA before

What a great week of friends and fast cars, one lane dirt roads and 100+ mph toll roads. It is crazy when the Viper owner you least expect to be a mad man behind the wheel blows by you at 150 mph. COTA is simply the best track I have ever been on and having it dedicated just for Viper owners on Friday was beyond words. We could make as many runs as we had gas and brakes for, no lead follow here, this was the Viper at its best, full throttle with 21 turns and 165 mph straight always, and 139 feet of elevation changes.

Well said, the track was truly amazing, and to have the opportunity to have extra runs, on the track, was great. Attached is another photo from the COTA tower, in the photo you can see maybe 2/3's of the track

Thanks for starting the picture posts. It was cool too that Keating gave blistering rides in his ACRX and street car too. Saturday Edge Addicks had TONS of cars on track and many exotics including an older F1 car. I was able to hit 170 before hard braking into 12. Lots of offs made it interesting but slowed the sessions a lot. Fridays sessions gave a lot more room.

170 Mph on the back stretch, dang thats fast. Do you have any mods done to your ACR? My stock TA was maxed at about 160 mph in 5th gear on the back stretch. Only downside to that taller gear is I have to take it to 5th on the straights.

Alrighty everyone,

I have gone through my trigger happy collection of 6.5k photos and have narrowed it down to create a media kit to be distributed throughout social media and the forums. These are not high res photos, they are only meant to be used on the web. I will be setting up an online store in the next day or so for purchasing prints and have made a collection of around 1000 images which you all will be able to go through and buy whichever prints you want.

As for this kit, I will post the photos in a few posts after this one so you can all see them here but also here is a link directly to the VM dropbox from where you can download the better quality photos directly to your computer: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/d64h9ydaix2yi5p/AAA8p3TiJxyaGGXeyncFud2oa?dl=0

Please feel free to distribute them anywhere to promote the club but please do not crop out the watermarks and always give credit to the photographer.

Enjoy, I want to thank everyone of you for having me at VOI13 and I cannot express how warm of a welcome I have received from each and everyone of you. This is your club, your car, and your VOI I was just lucky enough to tag along for an amazing wild ride.

It was 172 to be precise with a quick look down before very hard braking at the 200 marker into 12. Getting on the gas early out of 11 really helped too. Mods are Belanger headers, hi flo cats and thats about it and I was on street tires. Going fast thru the esses was even more fun for me and taking a LOT of curbing.

172 mph, dang thats strong. The TA stayed so flat through the esses. It handeled curbing very solidly. I have to get more track time and learn how to best use the 3:55 gear...

Your orange TA rally looked good out there!!! The 3-55 gears may be hurting you on those long straights but great for the shorter areas and track out!! With stock gears I was only running fourth gear at the end to 12.
