Has anyone ever encountered trouble passing CA emissions tests after bringing a viper in from out of the state? Do I need to worry whether a recently serviced 95 rt/10 will pass CA emissions? I know that model can pass CA emissions - I've seen 95 vipers for sale in CA that were emissions compliant.

Part 2 of my post is whether a purchase executed in New York for a viper which is subsequently shipped to the owner's new residence in California triggers a California use tax obligation. Is double taxation avoided by crediting the difference in NY and CA tax? Does it help if the viper is registered in another state first and then transferred?
