Dripping source must be located, the pan that covers the vehicles bottom may need to be partially removed as oil leak blowback may pool on pan and leak in other than 'leak source' area..... if you are mekanically inclined, floor jack, jack stands, creeper... and a little time may point to the problem. Could be something as simple as oil filter mount crack or loose oil filter. The symptoms you describe result typically from low oil level, and pump picking up oil intermittently, my ex lost a Corvette engine running it low on oil.. thought she still could drive because pressure was there, then dropped and came back.. bearings shot...
