My power steering to cooling fan hose is leaking at the pump quick connect fitting. I've tried several things to remove the QC fitting but am not having any luck.

Does anyone know how to remove this fitting from the hose?

Thanks,
Scott

OK, I found a post that gave me the answer!!!!

I split the old fitting. After studying it, I don't see how the special tool could remove the fitting without damaging the hose end.

Yeah, I tried punching the line out of the fitting after removing the hose (I replaced it with AN style fittings) and have only succeeded in flaring the tube out and making it nearly impossible to remove. If you cut the fitting off carefully though you can save the tube. I like the factory lines better because of the hard formed sections, so I hung on to them to see if I could salvage it or maybe convert them somehow.
