New question...does anyone know what this knob does? It's under the steering wheel, behind the lower dash cover...can't see it unless you get into the foot well (I discovered it when trying to find my clutch switch).

The safety switch does not really adjust well. I also have an 94 viper so I have tried. So just pull the connector off the switch and get yourself two of these

connect the connectors to each end of the wire and then attach it to the harness that connects it to the safety switch. done...simple and nearly free fix, or you can spend the cash to just buy an new one.
