2.5 or 3" exhaust with stock headers????

I have a 2009 bone stock and want to increase my exhaust sound and not generate excessive drone. I don't want to mess with headers, so thinking hi-flow cats and a Corsa cat back. Most of the hi-flows are 3". Is there any advantage/ disadvantage of 2.5 vs 3" catback?

I have ran 3" Roe Racing cat deletes and 3" Corsa on my last 3 Vipers with stock exhaust manifolds, definitely a much better sound, little more HP and I've never had any drone in town or at hiway speeds. I finally put on headers to do some 1 and 2 mile runs and it's slightly louder now. I have the Roe Cat Deletes for sale if you have any interest in those. Thanks

Go with the 3" and Kooks Green cats then.
