For those of you that have upgraded to 19" front and 20" rear rims,
what tires are you using and why? Luke, can you tell me what my choices would be? Thanks in advance! |

the only realistic choice would be the Pirelli P-Zero Rosso Asimetrico in the following sizes:
345/25R20 285/30R19 |

I think that is the only choice.

That's the setup I have, however Tire Rack lists the PS2 in a 335/30/20 for about 100 bucks/tire less, but it is a bit taller in diameter.

I am running the Pilot Sport 2 335-30-20. They are approx 2.8% larger in diameter then the stock tires. They do have better grip then the P-Zero Rosso's that I tried first.

335/30-20 is 28.0" tall and the SRT10 uses a 27" tall tire

Actually what I meant to say is the 335/30/20" is 2.8% larger in circumference.

Ive heard from alot of people who come into our shop that the Pilot Sport 2 that jpas mentioned is the way to go as far as grip is concerned. Dont have them on my car, so Im not really one to talk.

Good luck obtaining the Pirelli 345/25/20 tires! According to what I've been told, they are backordered for at least 120 days. The Pirelli 335/30/20 are about 45 days backordered, which pretty much leaves the Michelin PS2 in 335/30/20.
If I had known of this problem in obtaining the Pirelli tires, I would've gone the 18/19" wheel sizes. |

Pirelli only does limited production runs for these tires so I am not surprised. In fact When I purchased mine I opted to buy one extra rear tire just in case of a flat. that would be a disaster waiting fo the tire.
19/20 is worth the wait... |

.6" diameter increase over the factory 345/30/19 will have to work considering that no other option is available.
