I see that some are using a wider front tire than stock to dial out understeer rather than changing alignment,springs,etc.Dumb question maybe but does a larger section width tire have a larger diameter too and increase the hight of the cars nose and CG? Bruce

Depends on the aspect ratio. If you keep the same aspect ratio and increase the width, yes, you will increase the height of the car.
