2nd Annual NY/CT Region Hampton's Cruise and Luncheon July 16

Buffet Brunch

(Times are approximate)
12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
Non-Club Sponsored Cocktail Hour (cash bar)
Light Passed Hors D’Oeuvres will be offered to guests who will gather in both the Lounge area and overflow onto the deck. The lounge bar will be open.

Guests will enjoy the following passed appetizers:

* Pesto Prosciutto Paninis
* Bacon Wrapped Sea Scallops: gorgonzola cream sauce.
* Coconut Crusted Chicken: Pineapple dipping sauce.
* Mini Crab Cakes
* Lobster Tartlets: truffle hollandaise and corn
* Stuffed Portabella Mushrooms

1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Buffet Opens
Tables will be set up on the back deck as well as in the lounge room. Guests can also sit at our large bar if they wanted. This back area allows everyone to oversee their cars as well as enjoy the beautiful view of both the ocean and Shinnecock Inlet.

For the lunch course guests will enjoy a buffet of the following entrees:
* Grilled Chicken and Zucchini Sandwiches: Fresh chicken breast marinated in garlic, shallots and olive oil) also zucchini are grilled and served on a roll with lettuce and tomato. A basil mayonnaise accompanies this sandwich.
* N.Y. Sirloin Steak: Sliced aged sirloin charbroiled and topped with fried leeks and a port wine glaze.
* Oakland’s Seafood Pasta: Shrimp, scallops and calamari sautØed with fresh basil and tomatoes tossed with ribbons of fettuccine.
* Caesar Salad
* French fries

2:15 - 3:00 p.m.
Dessert
For Dessert: Chef John will prepare a fresh strawberry shortcake sheet cake. A second desert choice will also be offered.

Coffee and Tea offered to all guests.

Best meeting spot on the LIE is the rest area between exit 51 and 52 heading east lots of room to pull over and wait and right on the LIE. Carvel parking lot two miles south is a waste of time and area is a very busy [******] hole.

Ahh i cant wait for this. That was my first Viper event that i attended and had alot of fun ont he drive and everyone welcomed me in my m3, now in my turbo.

Cant wait for this, getting anxious to go on another drive with you NUTS :P

The route is pretty much open for discussion, however the last word generally goes to big D, our Metro Activities Director ("MAD").

In an effort to create the most nusiance, last year we took the LIE to #70 to Rte 27 East to Exit 63 Westhampton Beach. We got to terrorize Main Street in Westhampton and then drve out on Dune Road past all the major cost homes and party beaches.

Sort of cool to see 40 Vipers lined up on dune road strolling along at 35 MPH while patching out every 100 yards!

We may actually spend Sat night in the city, have dinner and meet up with the group on 34th and 1st Sun morning for the ride in. OR, we'll simply drive in early Sun morning and meet up with the group. We definitely don't want to miss the ride in with everyone, sounds like it's the best part of the trip.
