NE Zone and Pocono CSD 2008
The 2008 NE Zone Rendezvous at Pococno-CSD was a total success with awesome weather.
This event had everything you could want to do packed into three days. We kicked it off with a Auto Cross on Saturday morning at Pocono Raceway, followed by an exotic car cruise of more than 30+ cars through the beautiful country side of PA.  Rolstar preparing for battle    Andrew Cinque......one great Auto Cross driver   Ricks Street Serpent on the cruise............Awesome!  We stopped at the track for a photo op!  Sunday we had over 135 cars at The Inn at Pocono Manor's great lawn....     NJ's own John Yorke getting his SSG baby ready to win  Monday at Pocono Raceway.....Track time baby Ralph's ACR.........This car is mean  Bob Carrolls Comp Coupe  This is what it's all about! Club+Manufacturer=Happy Viper Owners Bob Carroll and Ralph Gilles(two great guy's)   Ralph towed out his ACR with a new Ram 1500, get in line folks, this truck is incredible inside and out  Part I to be continued

 Myself with Adel......He's checking my air pressure  Steve Katz going out to have FUN with Ralph   MOJO....Our Host!  Thank You for all that you do to put on this great event each year! We love you Joe! Thanks to our NE Presidents in Attendance over the three days: Andras Kovacs(who made the trip from Canada with his beautiful wife and adorable 2 year old baby, all three rode down in his 2006 GTS Blue Srt Coupe) Denny & Ginger From PA/WV Scott Greyson NY/CT(Saturday) Special thank you to our National officers for making this possible, and for our National President being in attendance Tom Roeller and Chris Saul from NJ VCA for putting together the goodie bags and marketing. Tom Roeller for organizing and running the Auto X, you did a great job buddy! Steve Katz for instructing all of us novice drivers..You dah man Steve Ralph, Doris and children Gilles for bringing that awesome ACR all the way from Detroit for a one day stay! Ralph and his family are great people and true car guys! Scotty"The Wrench" Sorrentino of Warnock Dodge, thanks for all the hard work you put in on your own time. I ask all of you next time you see him to thank him in your own special way, he really works hard for our club! Thank you to Donna Kockubinski for her assistance as well, she's the glue that keeps us together here at the NJ VCA Thank you to our sponsor Warnock Dodge of East Hanover, NJ...You are wonderful people! and last but not least, my beautiful wife and family for putting up with me all weekend....I LOVE YOU! I hope those of you that were at the event with cameras will add to this post, as I'm terrible with my little canon (and you all know which little canon I'm referring too)

Hey Tom,
Also, the Ferrari Club is going to Pocono in October (I believe the 2nd) and Vipers are welcome (I've been there with them a few times)... Also, the NY Club is planning on going to the brand new southern NJ track in the fall (replacing their event with the Aston-Martin club that they used to do at Lime Rock). Ron |
